The Special Warfare Pistol 2 course is an advanced course designed for military, law enforcement, and security personnel who want to take their pistol skills to the next level. This course builds upon the skills and knowledge learned in the Special Warfare Pistol 1 course.
The course covers a variety of advanced topics, including shooting from unconventional positions, shooting while moving through obstacles, shooting at moving targets, and using cover and concealment effectively. Students will also learn how to use their pistol in low-light environments, including techniques for using flashlights and night sights.
The course is taught by experienced instructors who have years of experience in special operations, law enforcement, and security. Students will receive hands-on instruction and will have the opportunity to practice their skills in a realistic, simulated environment.
Course Requirements:
- Must have completed the Special Warfare Pistol 1 course or have equivalent experience
- Must have a pistol and at least 3 magazines
- Must have a holster and magazine carrier
- Must have ear and eye protection
- Must have at least 500 rounds of ammunition
- Must have a flashlight and night sights (if available)
Upon completion of the Special Warfare Pistol 2 course, students will have the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to operate a pistol in high-risk environments. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
Topics Covered
- Grip. The human weapon interface is paramount to good shooting.
- Trigger manipulation & Reset. Working for pinpoint accuracy at distance or blazing fast to burn a tango down are two different things. There exists no one solution for all problems.
- Draw stroke. We will help you develop a smooth and consistent draw and above all else a safe draw. Reloading techniques. Just like trigger work there is no single solution for all problems.
- Realistic Training for Multiple Target Engagement.
- One Handed & Weak Handed Shooting
- Cover versus concealment? Should you shoot and move or take the shot? Considerations for carry weapons, ammunition and gear.
- Shooting in Motion
We stress to train with and in what you live in. Don’t show up dressed like a super soldier if you live in jeans and a T- shirt. Bring the gun you carry and lets get to work.

Frequently Asked Questions
For classes requiring time on the range, we like to tell clients coming to dress in layers. Bring slacks or pants with belt loops wide enough for a sturdy belt. A short sleeved shirt under a long sleeved shirt with a jacket that opens down the front.
Comfortable and sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Wearing layers enables you to take a layer off as the weather warms throughout the day. A hat with a brim that is comfortable with the hearing protection you will be wearing.
NOTE: If there is no range time required please dress comfortably as you will be in a classroom setting for the duration of the class.
Most people find that trying to leave at lunchtime is impractical. It is recommended to bring a lunch with you.
