The USCCA Real Estate Agent Safety Class is designed to educate and empower real estate agents with the knowledge and skills necessary to stay safe while working in the field. This class is appropriate for real estate agents of all experience levels, including those who have little to no experience with firearms.
Throughout the course, students will learn about situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and the use of lethal force as a last resort. Students will also learn about the legal and ethical responsibilities of self-defense, including laws regarding the use of lethal force in self-defense situations.
In addition to classroom instruction, students will engage in practical exercises that simulate real-life self-defense scenarios specific to the real estate industry. These exercises will focus on the development of defensive skills, including de-escalation techniques, close-quarters self-defense, and shooting skills using a handgun. Students will also have the opportunity to practice shooting from various positions and engage in shooting drills designed specifically for real estate agents.
The USCCA Real Estate Agent Safety Class is taught by certified USCCA instructors who have extensive experience in self-defense shooting and instruction. Students who successfully complete the class will receive a certificate of completion, which is recognized by the USCCA as proof of firearm safety training.

NOTE: This is a non shooting course. It will be taught via live class and Zoom.

Frequently Asked Questions
For classes requiring time on the range, we like to tell clients coming to dress in layers. Bring slacks or pants with belt loops wide enough for a sturdy belt. A short sleeved shirt under a long sleeved shirt with a jacket that opens down the front.
Comfortable and sturdy shoes or hiking boots. Wearing layers enables you to take a layer off as the weather warms throughout the day. A hat with a brim that is comfortable with the hearing protection you will be wearing.
NOTE: If there is no range time required please dress comfortably as you will be in a classroom setting for the duration of the class.
Most people find that trying to leave at lunchtime is impractical. It is recommended to bring a lunch with you.
