Embark on a comprehensive journey with the United States Concealed Carry Association’s (USCCA) AR-15 Fundamentals course, designed specifically for responsible gun owners aiming to master the effective and safe usage of AR-15-style rifles. This top-tier class sets itself apart by focusing on the pivotal role these rifles can play in civilian home defense, debunking myths and fostering proficiency in an engaging, hands-on environment.
The USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals class is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to responsibly carry and use a concealed firearm for self-defense, as well as how to effectively defend their home in a critical situation. This class is appropriate for individuals who are new to concealed carry or have some experience and want to build upon their skills.
Mass shootings have become a pervasive problem in our society, causing significant loss of life, physical and emotional harm, and trauma. This course is designed to explore the underlying factors that contribute to mass shootings and provide practical strategies to prevent them.
The USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level 1 class is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively use a handgun in a self-defense situation. This class is appropriate for anyone, regardless of prior shooting experience or skill level.
Here, students will enhance their defensive shooting skills, building upon the foundation laid in Level 1. The course covers advanced techniques including moving while shooting, utilizing cover and concealment, and managing multiple threats while maintaining situational awareness. These aspects are critical in any self-defense scenario.
Throughout the course, students will learn about basic first aid techniques, including how to assess and respond to medical emergencies such as bleeding, shock, burns, fractures, and choking. Students will also learn about the proper use of medical equipment, such as bandages, tourniquets, and epinephrine auto-injectors.
Throughout the course, students will learn about situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and the use of deadly force. Students will also learn about the legal and ethical responsibilities of gun ownership, including laws regarding the use of lethal force in self-defense situations.
You have successfully completed the Handgun Safety and Marksmanship Fundamentals and Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals: How to Teach Kids About Firearms classes online. You have learned things like the universal safety rules, proper grip, stance, handgun nomenclature and firearms cleaning and are now ready for the Level 01 shooting qualification.
In addition to all Level 01 Qualifications, you have successfully completed the Defensive Shooting Concepts and Emergency First-Aid Fundamentals classes online. You have covered things like building the skill for rapid acquisition and engagement of multiple targets in a real-world scenario. You have also learned the fundamental skills every gun owner should have in an emergency and has the knowledge and confidence to provide lifesaving aid. You are now ready for the Level 02 shooting qualification.
In addition to all Level 01 and 02 Qualifications, your student has successfully completed the Emergency Preparedness Fundamentals, Countering the Mass Shooter Threat and USCCA LaserTRAIN classes online. The student has covered things like what “emergency preparedness” is and why it is needed, and he or she has had the opportunity to analyze data from 48 mass shootings to develop a critical eye for self-defense situations. The student is now ready for the Level 03 shooting qualification.
