NO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!!!
The NRA Personal Protection IN the Home (PPITH) Course is designed to provide comprehensive instruction on defensive shooting and home safety. This course goes beyond the basics, addressing the mindset, legal aspects, decision-making under pressure, and planning for worst-case scenarios. Focused on the defensive use of handguns, the PPITH Course offers valuable knowledge for Americans who own firearms for home defense purposes.
During the 8-hour course, NRA Certified Instructors will teach students essential defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety, and how to respond effectively to a violent confrontation. Participants will engage in live-fire exercises from various positions and targets, and learn about state-specific firearms and home defense laws.
